Senator Anthony H. Williams Supports 8th District Business Community with Clean Sweep Philadelphia Initiative!
Areas that will be cleaned during Clean Sweep will include:- 60th Street from Market Street to Spruce Street on Mondays
- 52nd Street from Chestnut Street to Baltimore Avenue; Baltimore Avenue from 52nd to 42nd street on Tuesdays
- Point Breeze from Federal Street to Mifflin Street on Wednesdays
- Woodland Avenue from 60th to 70th Street on Thursdays
Senator Anthony H. Williams has announced an initiative to support local businesses and the community of the 8th Senatorial District. Clean Sweep Philadelphia will promote community pride and local business by encouraging residents to volunteer to clean up areas in the community.
Clean Sweep Philadelphia will begin the week of August 13, 2018 and continue for four weeks. Residents and businesses are welcome to join the senator in different locations within the district to promote a clean and safe environment.

2018 Summer of Peace Family Fun Day
In partnership with the City Council woman Jannie Blackwell, join us for the 2018 Summer of Peace Family Fun Day!
This FREE EVENT takes place Saturday, August 25 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Kingsessing Recreation Center, 4901 Kingsessing Ave., Phila. PA.
Event filled with lots of fun and activities including free food, moon bounces, water ice and much more!
