Areas that will be cleaned during Clean Sweep will include:

  • 60th Street from Market Street to Spruce Street on Mondays
  • 52nd Street from Chestnut Street to Baltimore Avenue; Baltimore Avenue from 52nd to 42nd street on Tuesdays
  • Point Breeze from Federal Street to Mifflin Street on Wednesdays

I am hosting two Weatherization Workshops this month in conjunction with Tilden Community School and PGW (Philadelphia Gas Works). Workshops are conducted by the Energy Coordinating Agency.

The first will be held on Monday, November 19 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Tilden Middle School located at 66th and Elmwood Avenue. The second workshop will be on Wednesday, November 28th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sayre/Morris Recreation Center located at 5835 Spruce Street.

All are welcome to attend this free event! Come learn steps you can take to lower your energy bills and make your home a more comfortable healthy environment. Resources will be available to answer questions and provide information.
