March 13, 2019:  Senator Williams hosted a Telephone Town Hall, combining it with a live town hall meeting with Police Captain Scott Drissel of the 12th Philadelphia Police District. February 5, 2018:  Senator Williams held another of his Telephone Town Hall meetings, in which residents of the 8th District were able to call in their questions.  Senator Williams talked with callers about local taxes, gerrymandering and stop-and-gos, among other issues.

June 15, 2016: Senator Williams held another of his Telephone Town Hall Meetings last night in which participants were able to ask questions about neighborhood crime and a wide range of local and state issues as well as listen to a discussion on topics that are important to the residents of Philadelphia and Delaware counties and the Commonwealth.  You can listen here to the complete town hall meeting.

Sen. Williams and 18th District Philadelphia Police Captain Robin Wimberly hosted the first joint legislative tele-town hall and police community meeting April 19, 2016 at the Mastery Charter School Harrity Elementary to discuss neighborhood safety issues for residents serviced by the 18th District. The unique meeting with residents was live streamed, and hundreds participated on the call while dozens attended in person.

 

On Tuesday,  March 15, 2016, I held a live Telephone Town Hall Meeting which participants were able to ask questions about a wide range of topics including senior citizen issues, the cost of health care, and education as well as listen to a discussion on issues that are important to Philadelphia and the Commonwealth.
