PHILADELPHIA, May 7, 2015 — Just in time for Mother’s Day, and following a successful kickoff event last week for Delaware County residents, Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams’ office will provide free makeovers to West and Southwest Philly senior women during “Glam Mom Makeover Day” tomorrow, May 8, at Empire Beauty School, Springfield.

More than 20 Delaware County seniors received the free treatments last week and a similar number of Philly participants are expected tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the school.

Senior moms from Southwest Senior Center, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and Christian Compassion Church will enjoy their Glam Mom makeovers.

Sen. Williams is scheduled to stop in to welcome participants sometime between noon and 2 p.m. The senator’s wife, Shari, will visit during the same time period.

“Glam Mom Makeover Day” – sponsored by Empire Beauty School, Keystone VIP Choice, and the office of Sen. Williams – will also serve lunch to attendees.
