Philadelphia, Jan. 31, 2011 – State Sen. Anthony Williams is partnering with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission to host an upcoming free energy forum.
The forum will take place on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 50th Street and Woodland Ave. in Philadelphia.“We are now in the coldest winter months, so it’s important to take steps to keep out the cold and keep energy bills down,” Williams said. “I encourage folks to attend this informative workshop and talk to professionals about energy conservation in the home.”
Participants will learn strategies to weatherize their homes and keep energy bills in check. There will be free weatherization kits and refreshments.
Representatives from PECO, PGW, the Energy Coordinating Agency and alternative energy suppliers will be available with information.
