DARBY, Sept. 19, 2011 — State Sen. Anthony H. Williams’ staff will be bringing their services to Darby residents at an upcoming Mobile Constituent Service Day.

Constituents are welcome to speak directly with the senator’s staff on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Save-A-Lot, located in the Darby Town Center, 150 S. MacDade Blvd. in Darby.

Staffers will be available to assist constituents with driver’s license and automobile registration issues, property tax/rent rebates, school aid information, utility and housing concerns, unemployment and public assistance issues and more. A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) representative will also be present to answer questions about emergency preparedness and more.

“My staff and I are proud to offer assistance and solve problems for constituents, but we realize that not everyone can get to our offices,” Williams said. “This is a convenient opportunity to speak with my staff about issues and even talk to a FEMA representative. I urge folks to stop by on Sept. 29 to meet my staff and discuss your questions or concerns with them.”

Sen. Williams’ staffers regularly set up mobile offices throughout the district in locations such as senior centers, recreation centers, senior apartment complexes, shopping centers, and community centers to help residents with problems.
