HARRISBURG, Feb. 3, 2015 – Members of the Senate Democratic Caucus, led by Sen. Anthony H. Williams, will outline a comprehensive package of legislation at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, on the lieutenant governor’s balcony in the Capitol Rotunda that is designed to increase access to postsecondary institutions, lower costs for students and their families, and spur Pennsylvania’s economy.
Sen. Williams will be joined at the press conference by Sens. Rob Teplitz, Lisa Boscola, Vince Hughes, Matt Smith, and Andy Dinniman.
A current Shippensburg University student will also share his personal story about the financial hurdles he continually has had to clear to earn a college degree.
