Free Seminar Open to Those Seeking to Start a Non-Profit and Existing Non-Profits
Philadelphia, December 8, 2010 – “Non–profits are a crucial element in the social, economic and spiritual well being of our communities, their importance cannot be overstated,” said senator Anthony Hardy Williams as he announced that his office will present a Non-Profit Boot Camp on Wednesday Dec. 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University of the Sciences Pharmacology/Toxicology Center auditorium, 42nd Street and Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia.
The Boot Camp is free of charge and is designed for anyone thinking of starting a non-profit or an established non-profit that needs updated information on new IRS laws and regulations. Attendees will receive legal and accounting advice for starting a non-profit and advice on how to maintain an existing non-profit with the new IRS requirements.
