HARRISBURG, Nov. 21, 2013 — To help make Thanksgiving more bountiful for area residents, the office of Sen. Anthony H. Williams will deliver nearly 200 turkeys to 8th Senate District residents Friday, Nov. 22, in Philadelphia.
The turkeys will be going to people who were identified with the help of community organizations across the 8th District and direct appeals from neighbors. Distribution of the free turkeys will be made to pre-registered constituents.
This project has been made possible through the generosity and partnership of Brown’s Family ShopRite, Fresh Grocer, Dandrea Produce and private donations.
