PHILADELPHIA, March 24, 2016 — The very popular Philly Rabbit Run this Saturday will include state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams.
Sen. Williams will address runners following the event (at approximately 9 a.m.) and congratulate them for their participation and effort.
The Philly Rabbit Run is a 5K race that also includes a one-mile fun walk at the Philadelphia Zoo. It raises critical dollars for Parkinson’s disease research and coincides with Parkinson’s Awareness Month.
Registered participants will get free admission to the zoo, free t-shirts, and rabbit ears (to the first 150 people). Spectators can buy a ticket to the zoo at a reduced rate the day of the event.
Free parking will be available. Entertainment will be provided by Philly’s AMP 96.5FM & Scarlett Sometime.
