PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 13, 2013 – Sen. Anthony Williams and state Rep. Ron Walters will host a “Back to School BBQ” from noon until 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, in Cobbs Creek Park.
The event, in partnership with “I Matter Philly,” the Family Planning Council, Chocolate City Hair Salon & Spa, The Beautification Project and The Foundation for a Better Society, will feature vendors, basketball games, free food, a DJ, style/swag haircuts, back-to-school giveaways and more.
Sen. Williams will be on hand to open the BBQ at noon.
