PHILADELPHIA, May 6, 2015 — The next great productivity tool for businesses will emerge tomorrow, Thursday, May 7, when the winner is announced in state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams’ “High School Mobile Business App Competition.”
Teams from Boys Latin of Philadelphia Charter School, William L. Sayre High School, and West Philadelphia High School have been preparing their final presentations during the past two weeks since they were named the finalists in the competition.
The “Mobile Business App Challenge” winner will have their business app developed; take home $5,000 worth of in-kind business services for digital media strategy, web design, social media publishing; and receive one year of mentoring from IG Marketing.
The second- and third-place teams will each win $2,500 worth of in-kind business donations for digital media strategy, web design, social media publishing, graphic design; and online web optimization from IG Marketing (Innovation Garden).
Presentations tomorrow will start immediately following the 4:30 p.m. welcome to competitors and guests. The winner is scheduled to be announced at approximately 5:25 p.m.
