As the Corbett Administration continues to push for an assets test on people who receive food stamps, state Senate Democrats are pushing back accusing the governor of declaring war on the poor and the needy. Senator Williams, who’s introducing a bill that would prohibit the assets test from being imposed on people participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, spoke at Tuesday’s State Capitol news conference.
