SUMMARY:Summer Reading Program
DESCRIPTION:School may be out for summer\, but that doesn’t mean our children should forgo learning. Summer is an important opportunity to foster an ongoing love of reading and prevent the “summer slide.” \nI’ve teamed up with Philadelphia Reads and Wills Eye Hospital to hold a FREE “Read to Succeed” Summer Reading Program for students in grades 1 to 3. \nThe program takes place Mondays through Thursdays\, from June 25 to July 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Penrose Elementary School \nStudents receive free breakfast and lunch and a free eye exam. \nFor more information or to register\, call 215-279-7450 ext. 202 or email read2succeedphiladelphia@gmail.com \nDownload Flyer »
