June 15, 2016: Senator Williams held another of his Telephone Town Hall Meetings last night in which participants were able to ask questions about neighborhood crime and a wide range of local and state issues as well as listen to a discussion on topics that are important to the residents of Philadelphia and Delaware counties and the Commonwealth.  You can listen here to the complete town hall meeting.


Sen. Williams and 18th District Philadelphia Police Captain Robin Wimberly hosted the first joint legislative tele-town hall and police community meeting April 19 at the Mastery Charter School Harrity Elementary to discuss neighborhood safety issues for residents serviced by the 18th District. The unique meeting with residents was live streamed, and hundreds participated on the call while dozens attended in person.

 

On Tuesday,  March 15th, I held a live Telephone Town Hall Meeting which participants were able to ask questions about a wide range of topics including senior citizen issues, the cost of health care, and education as well as listen to a discussion on issues that are important to Philadelphia and the Commonwealth.

On Tuesday, June 17 at 7:00 p.m., I held a live Telephone Town Hall Meeting on the pros and cons of legalizing marijuana in PA. Participants were able to ask me questions as well as listen to a discussion about this issue.
