Family Fun Day will set stage at Christy Recreation Center

PHILADELPHIA, July 29, 2015 — Once again, children and residents of state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams’ 8th Senatorial District will have the opportunity to learn about peaceful alternatives to violence and come together as a community during the return, Saturday, Aug. 1, of his “Summer of Peace 2015.”

From 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Christy Recreation Center in Philly, the senator’s office, the Beautification Project and a handful of important sponsors will present “Family Fun Day” and offer attendees basketball games, moonbounces, arts & crafts, swimming, free food, and entertainment by DJ Rude Boi.
