PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 6, 2015 — The friendly but impassioned campaign to name a basketball court in the memory of fallen Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson III will get a special boost Saturday when state Sen. Anthony H. Williams and Tyrone “Cakes” Sims stage a “Summer of Peace” police & youth exhibition basketball game.

The event will begin at 11 a.m. with a ceremony to remember Wilson and the request for supporters to sign a petition naming the court in his honor.

The ceremony will be followed by several exhibition basketball games where Philadelphia police officers will play local youth from the community in friendly and competitive basketball games.
