PHILADELPHIA, March 3, 2016 — His work on improving judicial conduct and fairness for Pennsylvanians has earned state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams a panel discussion seat at 6 p.m. tonight, March 3, at the Community College of Philadelphia.

Sen. Williams most recently exposed the pornographic, racist and misogynistic emails of state Supreme Court Justice Michael Eakin. Eakin has since been charged with ethics violations by the state’s Judicial Conduct Board.

Sen. Williams has also proposed legislation to improve the oversight of Pennsylvania’s judicial system and its justices.

The panel discussion tonight is part of Community College of Philadelphia’s 17th Annual Law and Social Week.

Panelists will discuss “Judicial Ethics: Realities and Perception.”

Judge Holly Ford will moderate, Sam Stretton Esq., will also be a panelist.

CCP said the panel will discuss recent incidents surrounding the state’s appellate courts plus the impact on public perception of the judiciary and the work of the courts.
