Anthony Hardy Williams will be joined by key leaders of the Philadelphia delegation and Mayor Michael Nutter at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, in Philadelphia City Hall to address ways in which to secure needed funds so the city’s public schools open on time.

School District of Philadelphia Superintendent William R. Hite Jr. said last week that if the district did not secure $50 million by this Friday, the fall opening would be radically different, if not impeded.
