PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 15, 2015 — More than 200 children from state Sen. Anthony Hardy Williams’ 8th Senatorial District will receive gifts, enjoy entertainment, dine on free food, and be delighted by magicians during the lawmaker’s annual “Gifts for the Holidays” party, Thursday, Dec. 17, at the KIPP Charter School/Motivation High School in Philadelphia.

The children who will be attending the holiday celebration were invited with the help of community organizations, community leaders, public schools and places of worship.

“The holidays can be lonely for children if they feel like they are being left out,” Sen. Williams said. “But Gifts for the Holidays will remind dozens of children that they are important and no one has forgotten them. They will get to enjoy three hours of food, fun and fellowship and be better prepared for the holidays.”

The attached flyer details the schedule for the event and lists its’ sponsors.
